Dil Bechara Release Today: Sanjana Sanghi Reveals Sushant Singh Rajput Had Told Her He Sees His ‘Mum’ In His Sisters
Sanjana Sanghi has been speaking extensively about her first co-star Sushant Singh Rajput in all the promotional interviews of Dil Bechara. As only a few hours are left for SSR’s last film Dil Bechara to premiere on OTT Disney+Hostar platform, fans have mixed emotions. Dil Bechara team and SSR’s fans will miss the actor sorely. Sanjana in her recent interview spoke about Sushant and his relationship with all 4 sisters. When Sanghi was asked if she spoke to SSR’s sisters she said it’s very gutting to see them.

Sanjana Sanghi, who plays Kizzi Basu in the film, reveals that Sushant used to speak a lot about his sisters but she hasn’t spoken to them consciously and feels like she knows them too. Sanjana went on to reveal that Sushant had once told her that he sees his mother in his sister, so she knows what bond they shared. Sushant lost his mom in 2002 when he was 16. His mother’s death left a huge void in his heart.

Pinkvilla quotes Sanjana saying, “I haven’t spoken one on one because honestly, they need their space. Maybe there will be a time when Mukesh and I show them the film or I don’t know. We just don’t feel that it’s… it’s too gutting. If I were in their place, I wouldn’t want anyone intruding right now but I feel I know his sisters because he used to speak about his sisters so much.”

This afternoon, ahead of the film’s release, debutante shared an unseen BTS still from the film and wrote alongside, “My Manny, I hope you’re looking over us, blessing us, and smiling upon us as we are, looking up at you, searching for you, in equal parts awe and disbelief. As @castingchhabra so correctly said, how could both our debut films ever be his last? Life is just so not fair. Thank you for giving us the strength in ways known and unknown to somehow brave through this incredibly tough path. We can feel the strength every minute. It’s the only silver lining amidst so many dark clouds. The day apparently has come. It’s #DilBecharaDay. Here’s praying for peace, positivity and calm to each and every one. Milte hain. Jald.” (ALSO READ: Sushant Singh Rajput’s Sister Shweta Singh Kirti Shares His Life Journey In Emotional Video; Late Actor Can Be Seen Replying To Fans’ Comments-WATCH)
